Made from durable die-cast metal, this portable electric hot plate offers extra heating options--great when cooking and entertaining during the holidays or for use in small apartments or dorm rooms. The appliance provides a 6-1/2-inch and a 7-1/2-inch heating element that nicely accommodate both large and small dishes. The cast-iron burners deliver fast, consistent heat and offer dual temperature controls that include warm, low, medium, and high temperature settings. Use the extra burners to maintain serving temperatures, to get foods cooking, or to keep tea, cocoa, or coffee hot. Other highlights include a "power on" indicator light, non-skid feet for stability, and a low-silhouette design that stores away easily. After the appliance has cooled completely, it can be wiped clean using a damp cloth and a non-abrasive household detergent. An instruction manual with recipes comes included. The hot plate measures approximately 10-2/5 by 14-2/7 by 3-1/2 inches and carries a one-year limited warranty.
